Community & Event Spaces
The Campus at Marlboro Music offers numerous large, multi-purpose spaces that are ideal for special events, social gatherings, group dining, performances, and other community activities.
Highlights include:
- Our historic Dining Hall — comfortably seating 200+ for meals and conversation and wonderfully adaptable as a performance venue. The Marlboro Music Festival has held concerts here for decades.
- The Campus Center and Coffee Shop — a versatile building with an industrial kitchen, café atmosphere, and work and recreation space. A new outdoor deck overlooks a terraced landscape.
- The Rice-Aron Library — The largest (and possibly the most flexible) building on campus. A lovely aperture in the upper floor to the level below, ample floor space, panoramic window views, and many office and meeting rooms.
- Persons Auditorium — Site of many legendary performances during the Marlboro Music Festival, this is an inviting, open space for a variety of events.

Dining Hall

46 Dalrymple Road, Marlboro, VT | 6,100 sf
Built in 1860, the multipurpose Dining Hall is one of Potash Hill’s original, historic farm buildings. It’s an excellent example of vernacular Federal and Greek Revival architecture in Vermont.
- Large dining room comfortably seats 200+ for meals and conversation.
- Adaptable as venue with performance stage, retractable movie screen.
- Fully-equipped institutional kitchen with brand-new stove, walk-in fridge and freezer, indoor storage areas, loading dock.
- Private dining room (and flex space); four bathrooms.
- Second-floor has four rooms for office/lounge space.
Campus Center

86 Random Road, Marlboro, VT | 4,200 sf
A versatile building in the center of campus offering many recreational and dining options. A spacious outdoor deck overlooks a terraced landscape.
- Café ready with a commercial kitchen, plenty of seating, and a movable bar.
- Game room with pool and ping pong tables, foosball, and shuffleboard.
- Mailboxes and mailroom.
- Separate 600 sf room that’s ideal for a bookstore, office, or storage.
Health Center

88 Random Road, Marlboro, VT | 5,088 sf
Attached to the Campus Center, this adaptable building can be a home for wellness and counseling, or it can be modified for other uses. An administrative hub, perhaps, or comfortable, quiet studios for art and writing.
- Three floors with elevator.
- Reception area and lobby.
- Nine private exam rooms, counseling offices, and convening rooms.
- Ground floor fitness room with exercise equipment and weights.
Rice-Aron

64 Dalrymple Road & 361 Theater Road, Marlboro, VT | 25,700 sf
The largest building on campus. Originally a library, it has a lovely aperture in the upper floor to the level below, and ample floor space, panoramic window views, and many office and meeting rooms.
- Huge square footage.
- Three levels with an elevator.

- Private reading deck with views to Massachusetts.
Concert Hall (Persons Auditorium)

2472 South Road, Marlboro, VT | 12,000 sf
550-seat Persons Auditorium is home to Marlboro Music Festival concerts each summer. Its rich, dramatically-peaked wood interior provides superior acoustics and an elegantly rustic Vermont character. Seating can be adapted for a wide variety of event types and audience sizes.
