Patricia Manley believes in music as a form of connection that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. An active performing musician for many years, Pat has played double bass with many symphonic and chamber ensembles in North and South America. She has directed community arts organizations, most recently as Branch Director with Settlement Music School, and has served on panels and committees that help make the arts accessible to diverse audiences. She lives with her husband near Philadelphia and volunteers locally for a nonprofit garden-share (CSA), and as a Spanish/English interpreter. Pat earned an MBA from Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business; majored in double bass performance at Ithaca College and at the National University of Argentina; and has a degree in Spanish language and literature from Binghamton University. She has served on the board of Philadelphia’s Network for New Music and as a panelist for local, state, and national arts funding organizations.

As Director of Advancement for Marlboro Music and the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Pat is dedicated to serving the missions of these organizations, and to building and broadening support for chamber music and the related arts so that audiences today and in the future can be enriched by high quality artistic experiences.
